paul rote Man I missed the boat on this band !
I ignored them ,I thought they were something other than the brilliant FFOBR that they are. I thought they were death metal. I confused them with a band of a similar me. Favorite track: I'm Alive.

Héctor Hurtado Grooscors In my eagerness to listen chronologically the work of a band, I started with this EP, and i can tell you it's amazing. Looking forward for their new album Favorite track: I'm Alive.

Frederick Jones I'm a mostly instrumental junkie but if I must have vocals in my music there is nothing better than a female fronted band with sweet clear vocals like these. Great Doom with crashing drums and droned out bass with those awesome vocals. Gotta love this stuff, and I do. Favorite track: I'm Alive.
FDJ (Desert Psychlist)

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) Doomy stoner/psych trio with super vocals and spacey guitar solo's backed by a solid rythmn section. Only three tracks but all killers! Favorite track: Rainbows.
Morts
Morts thumbnail
Morts Brilliant stoner/space metal EP with great riffs and groove! Vocals remind me of Judi Griggs from the underappreciated Underground Zerø, in fact the whole Disenchanter sound follows a similar path, though more metal-guitar riff driven and a little less prog. Favorite track: Back To Earth.

Spinning silver webs Across the dome of Martian skies Saved from their doom a million miles away from home Fear in his eyes Never again to return back to Earth Dark skinned they were And golden-eyed Meadows of purple, peach blossoms right but different Wind veils the night Never again to return back to Earth Cinnamon dust Air of wine Baked in the sun Until the end of time Afloat in silent green Bones drift through the light Mountains are calling his name over and over To another life Never again to return back to Earth

I'm Alive 06:09
This mind’s a burden, I walk this land Weighed down, I’m moving as fast as I can I see the world through my mind’s eye This disenchantment I cannot deny ‘Cuz I’m alive I have the power Oh, yes, I see I will devour What’s in front of me I’ve heard the devil whisper into my ear I’ve heard the preacher tell me not to fear I’ve heard the people tell me how to behave I’ve heard my soul screaming, “I’m not a slave!” ‘Cuz I’m alive I have the power Oh, yes, I see I will devour What’s in front of me You only see me how you want me to be, But you don’t realize we are all free You live your life with one foot in the grave But I’m here to tell you you’re not a slave ‘Cuz you’re alive You have the power Just look and see You have the power To set yourself free I have the power Oh, yes, I see I have the power To set myself free

Rainbows 05:24
Wind in my hair Fire in my eyes Longing to be free Like rainbows in the skies Lightning is my life You cannot deny Thunder from my heart Is my battlecry Wind in my hair Fire in my eyes Longing to be free Like rainbows in the skies

about

"The basic style is stoner rock/doom, with chugging riffs and wah-wah guitar solos, at medium tempo. However the singer has a high, clear, clean voice that really takes you back to 1970's stadium rock.
The musicianship is workmanlike, good enough to keep the stoner rock rolling."

The stars have aligned

Formed in May of 2011, rising from the ashes of the black machine, invoked after many moons, Disenchanter is a heavy rock band riding the currents of doom, casting riffs of rock, and melding the elixirs of metal to bring forth a fantasy of sci-fi wrapped in a stoner groove!
